Looks like a straight rip from the web. Clashes with alternate historical account (unmerged; currently at bottom of page) and needs checking and a rewrite! -- prat

I've updated some of its contents & added some illustrations. Most of the contents appears to have been lifted verbatim from the East China Normal University website.Davy
