[edit] Education

Please add to the education section. I'm trying to create a strong wikipedia network for the EBPS schools.

[edit] Mall

If you are from East Brunswick or familiar with the area could you please start an article called East Brunswick Square Mall. --GorillazFanAdam 23:59, 10 March 2006 (UTC)

Isn't the mall properly called the "Brunswick Square Mall"? Its not the "East Brunswick Square Mall".

The official name is the "Brunswick Square Mall", but it is almost always called the "East Brunswick Mall" by locals, customers, even rank-and-file employees, etc.

[edit] Income Statistics

Can somebody check the income statistics in the demographics heading? The per capita income for EB is $72,286 according to this page, but according to the New Jersey page, its $90,956, and according to the New Jersey locations by per capita income page, its only $33,286? --128.235.249.80 17:25, 7 April 2006 (UTC)

I went back to the original version of the article created in 2002. Virtually every one of the income numbers was changed, usually by changing the thousands in dollar amounts. Per capita income in the original load of the article was $33,286, which matches the New Jersey locations by per capita income article. By restoring the paragraph from four years ago, all of the vandalism was corrected. I will check the provenance of the NJ article to see where this number came from. Good catch!. The correct amount is $81,777. --GorillazFanAdam 01:17, 8 April 2006 (UTC)
The original amount was from the 2000 census and corresponds to all the other figures, so should be kept. Note also that the original Rambot paragraph had an error concerning the meaning of the poverty figures. Rich Farmbrough 23:10 10 April 2006 (UTC).

[edit] Tower Center

A passage and picture about the Tower Center complex, the two 25-story towers located at the intersection of Route 18 and the New Jersey Turnpike, should be added to the article.

The towers are a unique local landmark highly associated with East Brunswick. They can be plainly seen for several miles up and down the Turnpike and Routes 1 and 18. The towers are so tall that they cast a shadow into the Rutgers Village neighborhood in New Brunswick, New Jersey.

Many high profile events (i.e., U.S. Presidential visits, political fundraisers, etc.) take place at the Tower Center. (Sometimes national media reporters will incorrectly identify events taking place at the towers as being in New Brunswick.)

[edit] Congressional District

I don't how to update this, but NJ CD 12 does not cover any parts of Morris County. It only covers parts of Hunterdon, Mercer, Middlesex, Monmouth and Somerset Counties.

[edit] Noted Residents

Come on, playing the piano or respectable martial arts does not make you a noted resident. Let's keep the standard up, please. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Mantanasoss (talk • contribs) 22:44, 9 January 2007 (UTC).

"Margaret Kemble Gage (1734-1824), who allegedly spied on her husband General Thomas Gage in order to supply military intelligence to the American Revolutionary Army."

East Brunswick wasn't even around when she died, how is she a noted resident?--Metallurgist 21:02, 5 October 2007 (UTC)

  • If she lived in what is now East Brunswick Township, she would be justifiably included here. Alansohn 18:13, 11 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:EBLOGO.JPG

Image:EBLOGO.JPG is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
