[edit] Minor note on sources

Link [5] notes that "Credit for advancing the forum during the 2004 ASEAN Plus Three summit has been attributed to both the People's Republic of China [5]..." In fact, link [5] is an article published on 14 October 2003, which attributes no credit for advancing the East Asia Summit. I recommend that whole sentence be deleted. [edit] East Timor

I cannot find a source for the statement that East Timor was in Cebu as part of the EAS. They were there for the ASEAN meeting to sign the TAC (on the 13th - two days before the EAS) but did they observe/attend the EAS? Is there a reference to confirm this? - --220.238.167.215 10:36, 9 February 2007 (UTC)

I have now removed those comments as they are unsupported.--220.238.161.174 21:49, 16 February 2007 (UTC)

I note these comments have been put back in and the articles cited in support established Timor Leste is an applicant to join ASEAN but do not establish they were in Cebu for the EAS. Before I revert these changes I would like to discuss. --202.4.78.29 03:54, 7 March 2007 (UTC)

I have again removed the comments about East Timor attending the EAS (as distinct from being in Cebu for other ASEAN related activities). Again if there is a source that East Timor participated in the second EAS the comments can be returned to the article. --58.105.41.190 23:06, 11 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Should each year have its own page?

With the third summit to occur shortly to keep length down I wonder should each summit year gets its own page and then this page have a brief comment and link to the more detailed page? --202.4.78.29 01:15, 6 November 2007 (UTC)

I have attempted this for the First EAS. Yhe text on this page needs work but I do have time now, and i will leave it for comments before doing the Second and Third EAS in the same way/ --Eas21c 02:03, 14 November 2007 (UTC)
