[edit] Why "Angus East"?

Wondering why the constituency was called "Angus East". Cant believe a constituency of this name would cover the same area as Angus South and North Angus & Mearns. Angus South covered the south of the county of Angus, and North Angus & Mearns covered the north of the county plus the county of Kincardineshire (also known as the Mearns).
