Eastside Netball Club

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Eastside Netball Club is a Melbourne-based netball club that plays in the first and second divisions of the state Dairy Farmers State League competition. Though they were formed in 1987, the team is most well known for their dominance in the late 1990s, when they won four first division premierships (1997, 1998, 1999 and 2000). More recently, they again won the premiership in 2005. They have also produced several players who have gone on to national and international success - most notably Nicole Richardson and Cynna Kydd, both of whom have been regular features of the Australian national netball team.
