Eastside High School is the public school in East Gainesville, FL, USA. It was opened in 1970 and is managed by the Alachua County School District, Florida. As of 2007, the school has a student population of approximately 2300 and is home to two magnet programs: the Institute of Culinary Arts and the area's only International Baccalaureate program.

Eastside is consistently ranked among the top 50 of America's public high schools by Newsweek magazine, and was ranked fourth in 2005.[1]
In 2004, Eastside's Institute of Culinary Arts was ranked first in the state of Florida and second in the United States.[2]
Eastside consistently has top-ranked athletics. The women's basketball team placed second in the state in 2004-2005, and the men's basketball team was first in state in the 2005-2006 season.

- Eastside had a robotics team that competed internationally in the FIRST Robotics Competition and was in operation from 2000-2007.
- Eastside placed first in le Congrès de la Culture Francaise en Floride (French language competition) fifteen times since 1991, including 2008.
- The Eastside High School Marching Rams ("It's Showtime") were ranked as the number one show band in its class at the Florida State Competition in 2004 and 2005.
- In 2007, the Eastside team at the Florida State Spanish Conference won the Florida state championship.
- In 2007, the Eastside Forensics team sent four representatives to the National Catholic Forensic League Grand National tournament held in Houston, Texas over Memorial Day weekend, and qualified one team member to the final round in Student Congress.
- In 2007, the Eastside Brain Bowl team sent six members to the State competition in Orlando. They placed second in the state tournament; the team also won the Montverde academic tournament.
- In 2007, Eastside founded a Model UN team that has quickly risen to prominence and participated in the State Convention in Orlando, as well as coming in first at the University of Florida's GatorMUN competition in 2008.
- In 2007, the Eastside Mu Alpha Theta team sent eleven members to the National competition in Tampa. They placed eleventh.
- In 2006, Eastside's Institute of Culinary Arts ProStart Program was ranked first in the United States.
- In 2007, Eastside's Institute of Culinary Arts Prostart Culinary and Management Team were ranked first in the state of Florida and third in the United States.
- In 2008, Eastside's Institute of Culinary Arts Program was ranked first in the state of Florida.
