The Eastern or Queensland Tubenosed Bat (Nyctimene robinsoni) is a fruit bat in the family Pteropodidae. N. robinsoni is one of the few species in Pteropodidae that roosts solitarily. They get there common name from there raised tubular nostrils which is unlike most other species in the family. They are a deep brown with gray heads and sparse yellow spotting
