Eastern High School is located in the small rural town of Pekin, Indiana. A part of the East Washington School Corporation, it was built in 1967 and has gone under a number of changes in the last 30 years. The most recent change was in 2003 when the school built a new football stadium, added various classrooms, and built an auditorium, among a number of things.

[edit] Marching Band

The director of the marching band and concert band is Adam Miller. He was hired in 2005. Under his direction
the marching band has gone to Regional competitions for the first time in years. In 2006 the band received a Silver
rating at Regionals and in 2007 they received a Gold rating at the same.

The school's winterguard is under the direction of Jessica Hickerson. She also instructs the
colorguard in the fall. They competed for the first time in
years in 2008 with 8 members in the IHSCGA circuit.

[edit] Winter drumline

The drumline is under the direction of Megan and Sean Harrel. They also started their first
competitive season in 2008 with 15 members. They went to state and
received a score of 76.10. They competed in the IPA circuit.
