Eastern Christian High School

Eastern Christian High School (ECHS) is a private Christian school located in North Haledon, New Jersey. The high school is a part of the Eastern Christian School Association which also has a middle school (ECMS) in Wyckoff and an elementary school (ECES) in Midland Park. ECHS accepts students from anywhere in New Jersey.[1]

In 2007, the girls soccer team, seeded #2, won the North B state sectional championship with a 3-0 win over top-seeded Gill St. Bernard's School in the tournament final, the team's first title in this section.[2][3] The team moved on to win the Group B state championship with a 2-1 win over Bishop Eustace High School.[4][5]
Despite it's classification as a small Parochial B school, Eastern Christian has produced its share of NCAA scholarship athletes, including current student-athletes Ryan Kuiken (Nyack College Baseball), Melanie Susen (Nyack College Softball) and Shannon Martin (Bloomfield College Soccer and Softball).
