Easterfest
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Easterfest (previously known as AGMF) is a music event held in Toowoomba, Queensland at Easter each year.[1] The festival is claimed to be Australia's largest drug and alcohol free event[2], and has been informally dubbed "the Christian Big Day Out." [3] [4]
[edit] Festival History
The festival was held in Queen’s Park, The Empire Theatre, Grand Central Shopping Centre, local churches and Toowoomba's CBD.[5]. The organisers state that over 40,000 people attended the three-day festival in 2005[6], with 20,000 tickets sold in 2006[2].
