The Eastbourne Eagles are a British speedway team based in Eastbourne, England who compete in the British Elite League Speedway. They became Elite League Champions in 2000. They were also Elite League Knockout Cup winners in 2002. Speedway was initially brought to Sussex in 1929. Notably the Eastbourne Eagles seem to have a long standing "gang war" between them and the Poole Pirates, whom have been involved in numerous incidents with the Eagles before.
