East Ybor is a neighborhood within the city limits of Tampa, Florida. As of the 2000 census the neighborhood had a population of 735. The ZIP Codes serving the neighborhood is 33605. The neighborhood is located just east of the historic Ybor City.

East Ybor boundaries are Adamo Drive to the south, Interstate 4 to the north, 39th Street to the east and Ybor City to the west. [1][2]

As of the census[3] of 2000, there were 735 people and 290 households residing in the neighborhood. The population density was 2,622/mi². The racial makeup of the neighborhood was 12% White, 87% African American, 0% Native American, 0% Asian, 1% from other races, and 0% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 5% of the population.

There were 290 households out of which 24% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 24% were married couples living together, 30% had a female householder with no husband present, and 4% were non-families. 31% of all households were made up of individuals.

In the neighborhood the population was spread out with 22% under the age of 18, 16% from 18 to 34, 21% from 35 to 49, 21% from 50 to 64, and 20% who were 65 years of age or older. For every 100 females there were 91.4 males.

The per capita income for the neighborhood was $9,905. About 26% of the population were below the poverty line, 34% of those are under the age of 18.
