[edit] St Luke's High School
St Luke's High School is a secondary school situated in the Auchenback area of Barrhead, East Renfrewshire, in the Greater Glasgow area. The school is over 25 years old and Mrs Patricia Scott is the current head teacher, recently succeeding Mr John Fitzpatrick, who is now the current head teacher of Williamwood High School, also in East Renfrewshire.
The school focuses on its Catholic ethos in teaching, and its close relationship with the communities of Barrhead and Neilston, as well as areas further afield including Paisley, Pollok and Uplawmoor.

St Ninian's High School is considered the Councils Flagship High School.
St Ninian's High School, which opened in 1984, is a six-year co-educational Catholic School in East Renfrewshire, Scotland. The school serves the areas of Clarkston, Giffnock, Newton Mearns, Eaglesham and Busby in East Renfrewshire and Arden, Darnley, and Deaconsbank in Glasgow.The current school roll is 1705, and the Head Teacher is Mr. John Docherty.
Between 2000 and 2002, a multi-million pound extension was built for the school (which was originally designed to hold only 700 pupils). The extension had been scheduled for years earlier (and completion by 1999 at the latest) however problems with the PFI tender for another local school project caused years of delay.
The school recently received the best HMI report ever to given to a high school in Scotland.
[edit] Williamwood High School
Williamwood High School is a relativley new high school that has just been opend last year. the school is situated on Eaglesham Road in the Busby area of East Renfrewshire.
The school well in most of Her Majesty's Inspectorate of Education inspections and usually rates very highly in the Scottish league tables. However has never come number one. The school achieves well in extra curricular activities including sports, where the school has received 12 national and international accolades and awards. The school management say that the success of Williamwood is down to the hard work and dedication of the staff.
[edit] Woodfarm High School
Woodfarm High School is a Scottish secondary school in Thornliebank, East Renfrewshire. It has a roll of approxiamtely 750 pupils, and the Headteacher is Mr Iain Gibson.
The original building was partially destroyed in a large fire. It caused many pupils to be transferred to other schools while the building was demolished and replaced with a newer building. Some pupils were housed in a temporary structure made out of portable cabins that was reinforced by a brick built super structure at the back of the school grounds. This was built to be a temporary home for the upper school while the new main building was built. It was intended to be pulled down once the new part of the school opened, with a maximum life of around 3 years. In was finally demolished in 2005 as part of the extension work, 30 years after it was first built. On the site of this building, called the Westfield Building, is a new large car park.
The old school building was of similar design to the current South Building, and used to connect the now demolished Science and Technical wings.
