East Point Business Park
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The East Point Business Park (Irish: Gnó na Rinne Thoir) in Dublin, Ireland is one of the country's largest business parks, being the place of employment for thousands of people. It is situated in the East Point area on land reclaimed from Dublin Bay and the River Tolka estuary. The first phase of the park was opened for business around 1996. Major companies based in East Point Business Park include among others AOL, Bertelsmann, Lexmark, Oracle, Sun Microsystems, Quintiles and IBM.
Enterprise Ireland has recently leased one of the buildings within the business park to serve as its new head office. It is a move that will merge its four Dublin offices together at one central location, from the end of 2007.
Conduit call centre has set up premises in this area. One of the main areas of Conduit is 11850.
The main entrance to the business park is on Alfie Byrne Road, with a service entrance on East Wall Road, and the business park is on the DART line; the nearest station is Clontarf Road.
