EPHS is a school with a good academic reputation but also does well in athletics. EPHS is considered the best overall school in Paulding County for both Athletics and Academics.^[who?] Recently Football has finished in the final four in the state, also an elite 8 appearance, Baseball has won numerous region championships and made an elite 8 appearance. Girls and Boys Basketball both have had tremendous success both winning region championships and making numerous state playoff appearances.Raider Sports
