Now-defunct Australian rules football club based in Leicester, England.

[edit] History

The East Midland Eagles were formed in 1990 as a foundation club of the British Australian Rules Football League. They played seven seasons in the BARFL, their last being 1996. The Eagles struggled for most of their existence in a competition dominated by London-based clubs with large numbers of Australian players. They wore the colours of the West Coast Eagles from the AFL.
