East Knox High School is a public high school in Howard, Ohio. It is the only high school in the East Knox Local Schools district. Their nickname is the Bulldogs.
"The mission of the East Knox Local District, in partnership with the family and community, is to inspire, motivate, educate, challenge, and support all students to reach their highest level of learning and personal development. Their vision is to be an exemplary, student-focused school district that is highly regarded for the competence and character of the students and the excellence of the people, programs, and learning environment.
With enrollment of approximately 1,300 students, East Knox Schools provide a strong, comprehensive curriculum program to their junior and senior high school students. In addition, high school students have the opportunity to participate in X-Period classes outside of the traditional school day, post secondary option courses at area colleges and universities, and the Knox County Career Center located in Mount Vernon.
Their commitment to the child's future includes one of Ohio's most comprehensive Educational Technology Programs, with computers in every elementary classroom, multiple computer labs in both buildings, and computer classes to all elementary students." -East Knox Local Schools homepage Though the newMiddle School will out date the high school. that is said to be the biggest schock for the students that will be the first graduationg class of the middle school.
