East Jakarta

East Jakarta (Indonesian: Jakarta Timur) is a city of Jakarta, Indonesia. It has an area of 187.73 km².

East Jakarta is bounded by North Jakarta to the north, Bekasi to the east, Depok to the south, and South Jakarta and Central Jakarta to the west.

Places of interest in the city include Halim Perdana Kusuma Airport, Taman Mini Indonesia Indah, and Kramat Jati Market.

Koesnan Halim serves as the mayor of the city since May 2002.

Governor Building now in Penggilingan area, in Cakung subditrict, before in Jatinegara subdistrict.
