East German revolution might refer to two events in the German Democratic Republic (1949-1990):
- Uprising of 1953 in East Germany on 17 June 1953 which was violently suppressed by Soviet tanks
- Peaceful revolution, with a series of Monday demonstrations in East Germany before and after the Fall of the Berlin Wall on 9 November 1989, leading to Die Wende (The Turning / The Change) and German reunification on 3 October 1990
