East Garston is a village and civil parish in the English county of Berkshire. It is situated in the West Berkshire district, on the River Lambourn, between Eastbury and Great Shefford.

East Garston Cricket Club plays about 20 matches per year, some on Thursday evenings, others on Sunday afternoons. East Garston Bellringers was formed in 1998. The village also has a Village Hall and Social Club.

The civil parish of East Garston comprises the village of East Garston, together with a considerable are of rural downland to the north and south. The parish has approximately 226 dwellings and a population of 532 (2001 census), in an area of 4,500 acres (18 km²).[1][2]

The parish shares boundaries with the Berkshire parishes of Fawley, Great Shefford, Hungerford and Lambourn, and with the Oxfordshire parish of Letcombe Bassett.[2]

The parish is part of the unitary authority of West Berkshire, and lies within Newbury parliamentary constituency.[2]
