The East Fishkill Fire District is a volunteer firefighting organization in southern Dutchess County, New York, in the United States. They have over 300 volunteers, and 2 paid employees (non-firematic).[1] Consisting of four stations and two sub-stations, the East Fishkill Fire District is the largest volunteer agency between Albany and New York City, covering nearly 27,000 residents spread over 54 square miles within its jurisdiction. Hopewell Hose, is the oldest fire company in the District and began in 1912. As the area grew, fire companies were added which were strategically located to better serve the community. The Stormville Fire Company was started in 1949; followed by The Hillside Lake Fire Company in 1952 and The Wiccopee Fire Company in 1954. In addition to the four main fire companies, The Stormville Fire Company and The Wiccopee Fire Company also have substations which were started in 1983 and 1984 respectively. The entire District was and continues to be comprised of all volunteers. [2] The level of care they provide is Basic Life Support.[3]

1 Hose Tender/Pumper (5,000+ feet of 5 in. LDH)
1 6X6 All Terrain Vehicle w/ Trailer
1 Hazmat Trailer
1 Cribbing Trailer
2 Boats w/ Trailer
The apparatus run out of the 4 main stations, 2 sub-stations and district headquarters. The ambulances rotate between the 4 main stations on a weekly basis.
District personnel are dispatched directly by the Dutchess County Department of Emergency Response via personal pagers.
