East Dean, Gloucestershire

East Dean is a small village in Gloucestershire, England, near West Dean and Littledean. Collectively, these villages, and the surrounding wood (Forest of Dean) were mentioned in the Domesday Book as Dene, and appear as Dena in 1130.[1]
