From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

East Africa were invited to compete in the 1975 cricket World Cup and the team included players from Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania. The countries making up the East African cricket team now have separate cricket authorities and play under their own national flags. As a result of this East Africa ceased to be a member of the International Cricket Council in 1989. A total of 14 men played at least one One Day International for East Africa.
