Talk:Early Entrance Program (CSU)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
sorry to eliminate the joke everyone, but i think someone has to look at a couple things here and decide whether it is good in its current form. case: "Mr Maddox has basically designed the modern day EEP, and has been the leader of the Program for many years." if rich wrote that himself then i guess we should leave it, but otherwise the wording "modern day EEP" sounds strange. also, 'modern day' needs a hyphen. i would do this myself, but i'm not sure if i should. you guys know my email. tell me what you think -Julian
Well, Rich did write that, but using my account. -the person who is not Hamster Boy
Just to let all you guys know, I will be working very hard on this page during summer break, so don't worry if you think this article sounds crappy right now. -Ynezeepster
If anyone was wondering why I did not put a link to the "official" website of EEP, I saw that the website was down the last time I checked it out.-ynezeepster
there are other programs under this name, perhaps they should be included as well. i know the university of washington has one.

[edit] modifications (minor)
oy. somehow i had an idea the maintenance for this would be responsible in part by edwin &sirs (hi julian :D). well, a bit of modification i did for the 'student life' bits, an additional mention of OTHER early entrance-esque programmes...etc. - kimbo @ 6:54am (why am i still awake ?!) OH ! and is all of the application process confidential strictly, or are we allowed to expound ?
Well thanks for working with me on the EEP's article
there is no "privacy agreement" and those info are public knowledge.
Although I like the page with the link to the "other" eep program, I think typing the words "early entrance program" should automatically direct the user to this page, because EEP is the one and the best program of its kind!
Not to interrupt (you guys are writin a nice article, wish I could write something like this for the HGM one), but in response to the above comment, if an issue arises because two different entities happen to have the same name, the disambiguation page should come first, not one or the other. (No matter how good you think it is, because a Google search for 'early entrance program' (http://www.google.com/search?q=early+entrance+program) does link the University of Washington EEP first, heh. *hint hint* Google bomb anyone? :D )
Cheers, and /me waves to kimbo

[edit] move/redirect
User:Xanadu, at my request for help, set Early Entrance Program as a redirect to the disambiguation page that was languishing in obscurity hell and moved this entry to one of a more specific name. If you guys dont like the (CSU) part, feel free to change it by clicking on the 'move' button up top (don't forget to move the talk page, and to change any links, such as the one on the disambiguation page). Please don't flame me for it, after all the other program of the same name was first on google. it's only in an interest to improve wikipedia. cheers, janey the crazy 06:55, 10 September 2005 (UTC)
[edit] What, nothing about the esteemed and wonderful alumni?
