I have tried to re-write this article to rescue it from the 'Clean-up' pile. As I am fairly new to editing I am not yet confident about making links or very familiar with the 'rules' governing them. If anyone would be so good as to put in links to the article on Belvedere College here on Wikipedia I'd be grateful. Other external links could include Westmeath County Council (Belvedere House Mullingar) www.belvedere-house.ie or www.westmeathcoco.ie; Belvedere College, Great Denmark Street, Dublin www.belvederecollege.ie and the VC citation for George Arthur Boyd-Rochfort at www.hoganstand.com. You might also consider www.thepeerage.com/p12960.htm relevant.

For the record, re the spelling:

Whitehall, November 13.
The King has been pleased to order Letters Patent to be passed under the Great Seal of the Kingdom of Ireland, containing a Grant unto the Right Honourable Robert Viscount Belfield, and the Heirs Male of his Body, of the Dignity of an Earl of the said Kingdom, by the Name, Stile, and Title of Earl of Belvedere.

[edit] Robert Rochfort

Following a link to Robert Rochfort, Speaker of the Irish House of Commons, 1695-1703, I ended up here. This is actually his grandson and the name re-directed to this page. Now, I started an article for Robert Rochfort, but messed up the re-direct thing in the process. Maybe someone could re-name this page 'Robert Rochfort, Earl of Belvedere'.
