Earthscan is an English language independent publisher of books and journals on climate change, sustainable development and other environmental technology.
Earthscan was originally founded by the International Institute for Environment and Development in 1987 with the aim to publish original, reliable and significant work to foster the conditions for genuine sustainability by providing the means for understanding and analysing the issues and the tools for resolving them.
Authors include Walt Patterson, Al Gore, the IPCC, Tim Jackson, Jonathon Porritt, Felix Dodds, Sakiko Fukuda-Parr, and many more.
