Formed in Joshua Tree California at Rancho De La Luna by David Catching and joined by Fred Drake and Peter Stahl in 1994 .
[edit] Fred Drake
Fred Drake was one of three founding members of the earthlings? and co-owner of the recording studio Rancho De La Luna (along with David Catching) where earthlings? recorded all of their early material . Fred Drake died of cancer at the Ranch on June 20, 2002.

e3 is the supposed title of the album from which the singles/EPs Disco Marching Kraft and Individual Sky Cruiser Theory come. It has been in production since Human Beans was released. It has been delayed for several reasons, being the longest period between earthlings? albums . Currently , earthlings? are recording more songs for a new album in between recording and touring with various bands . Recordings in progress between Rancho De La Luna and The Hacienda .
