Early West Saxon
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Early West Saxon was an Old English language that was spoken in the kingdom of Wessex in southwest England. The language is believed to have originated some time before the time of King Alfred, circa 900 A.D.[1] By the time of the Norman conquest of England in 1066, the language had evolved into Late West Saxon.
