Early-type star
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
In stellar classification, an early-type star is a star of class O, B, A, or F0 to F5. This old and slightly misleading term was coined in the early 20th century, when it was believed that stars began their history as early-type stars and subsequently cooled to late-type stars of class K or M.[1]
