Earlimart is an independent rock band based out of Los Angeles, California. The name comes from Earlimart, California, a town located between Los Angeles and Fresno, California. Their sound bears heavy resemblance to Elliott Smith, The Pixies, and Sonic Youth, among contemporaries like Pedro the Lion, with whom they performed in a 2004 tour. The band's sixth full length album entitled Hymn and Her will be released July 1st, 2008.
