Earl of Mount Alexander

The title Viscount Montgomery, of the Great Ardes, was created for Sir Hugh Montgomery in the Peerage of Ireland in 1622. The 3rd Viscount was created Earl of Mount Alexander in 1661. Both titles became extinct on the death of the 5th Earl in 1757.
