Earful Tower
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Earful Tower is the former icon of Disney's Hollywood Studios (then Disney-MGM Studios) and current icon of the Walt Disney Studios Park at the Disneyland Resort Paris. The tower is based on water towers commonly found on Hollywood studio backlots of the first half of the 1900s, originally a safety measure to douse any fires on the film sets. On February 15, 2008, the Earful Tower underwent a paint job to incorporate the new Disney's Hollywood Studios logo. The Earful Tower includes special lighting on the outline of the Mickey Mouse ears at night.
