Talk:Eagle Talon
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
i decieded I would split the Laser and Talon up, bnecause they are diffrent cars with diffrent historys. This page is a good start that I've tried to organize & clean up some info. In some ways, it's busier than the Mitsubishi Eclipse page which keeps the model/detail info in the infoboxes (cleaner?) I think some of the info in the 'intro' portion of this article should be moved to the detail section (i.e. crankwalk reference). At some point I'll upload a 2Gb TSi AWD for photo comparison with the 1995 stuff. --Z00ropean 3 June 2006
a wealth of information on this (and similar) vehicles can be found here: http://members.shaw.ca/costall/1000Q/ incase anyone wants to continue the page :)
[edit] Multiple editprotected requests
I have no idea what's going on here, however, I have a few comments:
- Do not shout (i.e., write in ALL CAPS).
- You only will ever need one {{editprotected}} tag per talk page. Extra templates just create more work for admins.
- If you have a specific edit to this article that has consensus and is in-line with all of Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, feel free to add an editprotected request. However, this page is currently under full protection, so only minor edits should really be necessary right now (e.g., typo fixes, etc.).
Cheers. --MZMcBride 03:21, 11 June 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Consensus is the name of the game
Apparently nobody is listening to MZMcBride, so I'll repeat it: the {{editprotected}} tag is not for asking to have the article unprotected – it is to ask an admin to make a specific edit that has been agreed to by consensus. This means that you need to talk to each other, using this page, to decide on edits. It is pointless to keep adding the {{editprotected}} tag without having specific edits that you want an admin to make. The page is going to stay protected until this happens. - KrakatoaKatie 04:42, 11 June 2007 (UTC)
