[edit] Infobox issues
The years seem off in the infobox. It says:
- Career Information
- Year(s): 1959–1960
- NFL Draft: 1956 / Round: 17 / Pick: 203
- Professional Teams
- Winnipeg Blue Bombers (1956-1958)
- Washington Redskins (1959-1960)
- Calgary Stampeders (1961-1966)
First, if He started with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in 1956 and ended with the Calgary Stampeders in 1966, then Year(s): 1959-1960 is wrong and should be Year(s):1956-1966. It seems as if someone is only counting his time played in the NFL with the Washington Redskins.
Second, if he was drafted in the NFL in 1956, why does it show him playing in the CFL with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in 1956?
This needs some research but I'm not that familiar with Canadian football so someone with a better insight should check on this. - ✰ALLSTAR✰ echo 20:23, 24 February 2008 (UTC)
- Obit says he chose to play for the Blue Bombers instead of Washington in 1956. It was not unusual in those days as salaries were similar. The other problems are weaknesses with the Infobox NFLretired. As a player in more than one league, Infobox Gridiron football person is a better choice.
