Eagle Video Productions

Eagle Video Productions is a video production and video editing company located in Raleigh, NC that creates programs for corporate, business and broadcast clients. Eagle Video was founded in 1991 by Bruce Wittman. Bruce has an extensive news background, having worked 10 years at Raleigh's television station, WRAL-TV.

Eagle Video Productions has served Fortune 500 clients like Advance Auto Parts, Allstate Insurance, Cisco Systems, Centex Homes, General Motors, IBM, L'Oreal, Schindler Group, and Schneider Electric. Broadcast clients include American Journal, ESPN, Fox Soccer Channel, The Golf Channel, Inside Edition, MTV, Nightly Business Report, QVC, World Business Review and WRAL-HDTV. When WRAL-TV was pioneering HDTV back in 1996, they asked Eagle Video and Bruce to help field-produce the first HDTV events, which included a Durham Bulls game and an outdoor concert.

Eagle Video specializes in shooting on location all over the US. In addition, services include editing in the field with Final Cut Studio along with a MacBook Pro editing system.

Eagle Video Productions is known as producer and distributor of the award-winning video series, "Why to Breastfeed." Titles include "The Benefits of Breastfeeding" and "Breastfeeding and Returning to Work." Both titles were finalists in the Time Warner International Health & Medical Media Awards. These DVDs feature world renown breastfeeding expert, Dr. Ruth Lawrence. She wrote the book, "Breastfeeding: A Guide for the Medical Profession." The DVD "The Benefits of Breastfeeding" has been approved by American Academy of Pediatrics, American College of Obstetricians & Gynecologists, International Childbirth Educators Association, La Leche League International, Academy of Breastfeeding Medicine, Lamaze and the March of Dimes.

Eagle Video Productions has been an active member of MCA-I (Media Communication Association International) since 1985. As part of its corporate mission, Eagle Video has donated its talents and those of its local chapter members to produce videos for worthy causes. "Help Our House Grow" was produced as a fund-raising video for the Ronald McDonald House of Durham, which serves Duke Children's Hospital House. It has garnered several national awards, including the coveted Gold Reel award, presented by MCAI.
