[edit] Nobel prize

Nobel Prize & Billy Bathgate - You don't get nominated for the literature prize on the basis of a single identified work, but for a body of work I thought... Linuxlad 13:10, 8 October 2005 (UTC)

[edit] City of God

The "City of God" link takes you to an article about the St. Augustine work, not the Doctorow novel.

[edit] Billy Bathgate film

A "citation needed" disclaimer was added to the statement that says Doctorow reneges the movie, however, the Gotham Gazette quotes him as saying: "Four of my books have been made into movies. There's actually one that I like. That's the film that Sydney Lumet made of the Book of Daniel, called Daniel. It's not a perfect movie by any means, but there's some beautiful stuff in it. The others are a disappointment: Ragtime and Billy Bathgate. Welcome to Hard Times is the second worst movie ever made." ([1])

I got that link from the very article's External Links section. I propose the disclaimer simply be removed.
