E. Allan Farnsworth

E. Allan Farnsworth was one of the America's most renowned legal scholars on contracts. His writings were standard reference in courtrooms and law schools.

He was a professor at Columbia Law School, where he taught for 50 years, until his death at age 76 in February 2005. Farnsworth served as reporter for the Second Restatement of Contracts in 1981.
