E. A. Taylor

Ernest Archibald Taylor (September 5, 1874- November, 1951) was a Scottish artist who worked in painting, stained glass and furniture.

Born in Greenock, Taylor was apprenticed into the Glasgow shipbuilding industry. He then worked in furniture design.

Moving toward art training at Glasgow School of Art, he met and married Jessie M. King. They moved between Salford, Paris and then Kirkcudbright, working on commissions and running their own art schools.
