[edit] Software
The device suffered from major software defects in its early stages. These include non-functioning/buggy SMS capabilities, bluetooth problems, an inaccessible phone configuration page, and reports of GPS function stoppage. The SMS bug has been patched successfully by a third party. The patch, RILMUX20061212.CAB, can be downloaded from the ETEN Users forums along with a Bluetooth patch and the latest ROM (354). The GPS problems are believed to be caused by the use of incorrect baud rates and incorrectly setting advanced settings with third party utilities. To ensure against it always set the GPS baud rate to 57600 and do not change advanced SiRF settings unless well informed of how to do so, or with the guidance of those who are.
[edit] Glofiish X500+
