I am removing the following from the article:

  • This softare is the top of E-MU range. There is a cut down version call Proteus X. This is basically the same as Emulator X minus fonction of creating sound from scratch. You will be then able to read he soundbank from E-MU, apply some changes on theses banks but if you need creating on your own, Emulator X is necessary.
  • A plug-in version f Proteus X is also available: proteus X LE. This will allows you to read your soundbank over a sampler software such as Cubase or Sonar to name only 2 of them.

It is included here if someone would like to attempt to reincorporate it into this or another article, but being that it mostly concerns the E-mu Proteus X, I don't think that it should be reincorporated. - Two Halves
