[edit] Licensing
This image is from a comic strip, webcomic or from the cover or interior of a comic book. The copyright for this image is most likely owned by either the publisher of the comic or the writer(s) and/or artist(s) which produced the comic in question. It is believed that
qualifies as fair use under United States copyright law. Any other uses of this image, on Wikipedia or elsewhere, may be copyright infringement. See Wikipedia:Non-free content and Wikipedia:WikiProject Comics/copyright for more information. |
[edit] Fair use in E-frame
This image is being linked here; though the picture is subject to copyright I (Koveras) feel it is covered by the U.S. fair use laws because:
- it is a low-resolution copy of an artwork of the series;
- it does not limit the copyright owners rights to sell the series on VHS in any way;
- it is used solely for educational purposes to illustrate one of the fictional weapons described in the article.
[edit] Fair use in Exosquad planets
This image is being linked here; though the picture is subject to copyright I (Koveras) feel it is covered by the U.S. fair use laws because:
- it is a low-resolution copy of an artwork of the series;
- it does not limit the copyright owners rights to sell the series on VHS in any way;
- it contributes significantly to the article's section about Mars, since it depicts its common canyon landscapes, as well as the character J.T. Marsh during one of his missions on that planet.
