DZKB-TV, channel 9, is the flagship station of Philippine television network Radio Philippines Network. Its studios are located at Broadcast City, Old Balara, Capitol Hills, Diliman, Quezon City; with its transmitter situated along Panay Avenue, Quezon City.

It was one of the most dominant networks in the days of President Ferdinand Marcos. The station was responsible for bringing TV shows from the United States, like MacGyver, Airwolf, and both primetime and daytime versions of The Price is Right; as well as the very first airing of Voltes V in the Philippines. It also produced legendary soap operas and sitcoms, namely "Flordeluna," which starred the fledgling young star Janice de Belen; and "John En Marsha", which starred Philippine legends Dolphy and the late Nida Blanca. The title of its all-English flagship newscast, "NewsWatch", became a generic name for any televised newscast in the 80s. It is also the official flagship carriers of the major Philippine awards shows, including the Filipino Academy of Movie Arts and Sciences' prestigious FAMAS Awards (until 2003), the Gawad Urian Awards and the Star Awards for Movies.

The network gained popularity once again in 1996 when it aired the Mexican soap opera Marimar and started the telenovela craze in the country. The two top networks were forced to include telenovelas to their programming lineup.

Currently, the station had a major revamp in their primetime lineup as a result of its tie-in with Solar Entertainment Corporation.

On December 24, 2007, Tonypet Albano (undersecretary and executive director of Malacañang’s Office of Political Coalition Affairs and Deputy Spokesperson of TEAM Unity) was appointed chairman of Radio Philippines Network (RPN) 9 (replacing Education Undersecretary Mona Valisno, incumbent Presidential Assistant for Education). Undersecretary Robert Rivera was appointed director of the board, while RPN-9's president and chief executive officer is former senator Orlando Mercado.[1]

On January 1, 2008, Solar Entertainment owned C/S aired on this station.
