The pioneer FM radio station in Pavia, Iloilo. Started as Radyo Natin 92.7 way back in January 15, 2002. But due to limited power it didn't get any commercials for the pass years. In September, 2006, seeing the potential of up-grading to a little power than before, it boost it's power to 5 watts from 1 watt power. But due to new station in Bacolod City, it was over to 104.1 MHz and change into HOT FM 104.1. HOT FM 104.1 start it's test broadcast by November 15, 2006. In January 2007, it was change to 104.3 to correct it's frequency with a new group of DJ's. In August 8, 2007, the station was in trouble with the production staff / DJ and going on air that he was the owner of the station with out knowledge of the key persons that he announce it on-air. The station nearly lost it's credibility with there clients. The key persons action fast after avid listeners asking if the statement on-air is true or not. The station was save. The station change it's name for the third time as THE BEAT in August 15, 2007. But after few days, August 17, heavy rains pour in Pavia flooding some areas. That flood cost a damage to the power fluctuations and the station transmitter room front door was flooded. The transmitter is damage on this power fluctuation. The station might resume on September 2007. The Last big event that held at Pavia Public Plaza together with Municipal of Pavia is Tigkaralag Festival on October 29, 2007. After the event the station manager when to makati city for a good and relaxing vacation after the owner grant the vacation. After a week of the station manager vacation, the station is takeover by two former kick out disc jockeys without proper turnover management from the station manager. it was a crazy takeover by the two kick out disc jockeys and the unusual mind of the owner. Now the station change to Power 104 instead of MBC's HOT FM and not caring the MBC network. the station has less radio listener than before. they even had no station ids and the station turned upside down. it was a drastic move by the owner and two unusual kick out disc jockeys. The station now broadcast from 10am-7pm only instead of 24 hours broadcast without any computers to air there ads and running only in three pirated cheap compact disc that mostly jump without proper programing. this is up to the MBC network to check on this and make it straight.
