hcg25: I would like to extend this article a bit. There seem to be a few technical mistakes (e.g. time inconsistency does not require changing preferences, hyperbolic discounting is not a clear-cut example of time inconsistency), and a small model with a graph might be useful. Is anyone else working on this article at the moment?

Go for it! But please provide references if you can. Martin 21:04, 7 May 2006 (UTC)
If you are referring to how time inconsistency is used specifically in the area of behavioral economics, I think you are mistaken about the technical mistakes, but still, go ahead, and if you are right, it will stick. An example model with a graph would really be great, by the way. Cheers, HalfDome 12:45, 13 May 2006 (UTC)
Many thanks for both of your encouragement! Unfortunately, I don't have much time for another two weeks, will get started after that. --Hcg25 10:04, 20 May 2006 (UTC)
