Dyn'Aero Ban-Bi

The Dyn'Aero Ban-Bi is a two-seat all-composite ultralight aircraft, manufactured in France by the Société Dyn'Aero. It is supplied either as a factory built or as an amateur-built.

[edit] MCR (Ban-Bi)
The Ban-Bi is available in two versions, a homebuilt microlight version with larger wingspan and greater utilization of metal construction, and a Group A version with shorter wings and more composite parts. The Group A version has a greater cruise performance at the expense of some takeoff performance.

The Ban-Bi can be fitted with Rotax 912UL of 80 horsepower, the 100 hp 912ULS or the turbocharged 115 hp 914UL engine. Other engines have been successfully installed and flown.

It can be compared to the many Rotax-powered ULAs/VLAs that have appeared on the market in recent years. However, it is probably most directly comparable with the Europa XS.
