[edit] References

Further information: Wikipedia:Footnotes, Wikipedia:Citation templates

I notice you're still having a bit of confusion over adding references so I thought I'd drop you some examples on your talk page.

There are various different ways to produce references, the easiest is to just type between the tags like this -

Which would appear below at reference point 1.[1]

As you may know already; we wikilink the full date of January 1, 2007 because the display of this can be changed via user preferences, for example all dates appear on my screen as Day Month Year no matter how they are typed.

January 1 2007, 1 January 2007, 2007-01-01 all appear the same if you've set the time and date preference.
January 1, 2007, 1 January 2007, 2007-01-01 all appear the same if you've set the time and date preference.

We can use templates between the -[2]
-[2]
-[2]
-[2]

If you see a template being used in a page and want to see how to use it, click edit and then hit preview. If you scroll to the very bottom of the page, a list of templates used is shown. You can then click on these template's links to see the information and instructions for it if any.

If using the templates is onerous or time consuming for you, you can also use an external program called Wikicite which simplifies the process a little.

Hope this is of some help, - Foxhill 11:39, 19 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Felicia Browne

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Felicia Browne, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://www.spartacus.schoolnet.co.uk/WbrowneF.htm. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot (talk) 10:23, 7 March 2008 (UTC)
