Dylan Hartley is rugby union footballer who plays at hooker for Northampton Saints.
Hartley was born in New Zealand, but qualifies to play for England. He has also played (as of 2007) for England A, and was expected to play some part in England's Rugby World Cup warm-up matches, if not the World Cup itself. However, he was banned for 26 weeks on 24th April 2007 after being found guilty of gouging, banning him till October Dylan moved to crowborough, East Sussex in 2002 and enjoyed the less competitve game through local teams and the Beacon Rugby Academy, where he competed with English, Scottish and Italian rugby hopefuls before being picked for Sussex and later divisional and England schoolboys His club, Northampton Saints, were set to appeal against the decision but decided to withdraw their appeal.
He was called into the England Saxons side that defeated Ireland A on 1 February 2008. [1] [2]
