Photograph by John Angelo Jackson, taken from Moel Berfedd looking downthe entire Dyffryn Mymbyr Valley. On the left is Llyn Cwmffynnon the source of the river Nantygwryd or Pen-y-Gwryd. The river was originally called Mymbyr and is named in Llewleyn's charter and the valley is named after that river.
