Talk:Dyad (spiritual workshops)

Information was initially added by Bill Savoie who changed his copyright notice at www.dyad.org. He wants an open approach to this information. If people find any of it wrong, he hopes they fix it.

Everything initially written on the subject of Dyad, as far as understanding allows Bill to comprehend, has been worked out in the community of users. The community of users was estimated larger than 100,000 people. (see Lawrence Noyes book on Enlightenment Intensives) He has tried to express, to the best of his ability, what the last 39 years of his experience has been. Dyads were used at the First 5 day Enlightenment Intensive in Lucerne Valley California in June 1968, and he was one of the original 26 participants. He has taken something between 50 and 100 Enlightenment Intensives and all were based on Dyad technology (The understanding of how Dyads work best for spiritual progress in a group setting.)

The two terms 'Dyad' and 'Enlightenment Intensives' are different. All Enlightenment Intensives are one question focused 3 or more day events. They all use dyads. The word dyad is much bigger than Enlightenment Intensive because dyads can be used in all kinds of workshop setting. People are offering 'dyad evenings' often once a week, or 'dyad days' on Saturday, and the questions used are much larger (relationship work, health work, marriage work, confusion clearing, etc). Enlightenment Intensives only focus on Enlightenment, and that takes more time.

This subject, and the term 'dyad' when used in a spiritual workshop setting, are important for the world to understand. The tools of war are expanding and being the center of much research by the best minds that money can buy. To balance or maybe even tame this outer effort, the world needs tools for inner work. Like outer technologies, inner technologies can be improved and perfected. The discovery of the dyad can be comprehended as equivalent to the discovery of the transistor.

Communication is often used to contaminate the sensitive mind. This is why many spiritual practices have relied on silence, in an attempt to go deeper into the sensitive mind. Dyads were invented to prevent this contamination while still using the power of communication. Dyad is the breakthrough technology of inner work. We call it 'draining the swamp' because it allows you to talk your mind out, and naturally fall into non-conceptual awareness!

Please let the world know. It needs to heal itself. In respect to all Bill Savoie
