[edit] Image:No Source

Hello, Dwxyzq, I have removed images from the page on the basis of the tag "no source", i don't know who put this tag. Please discuss the matter who has tagged with "no source". Thanks-- Shyam (T/C) 18:33, 2 March 2006 (UTC)

Hello, thanks for responding again. You are saying right that you have added the source information on the page after tagging no source information, but i think it is not so useful to put the information on the page itself. I may help it, do one thing. Go to WP:CP, there is a section with dark yellow background written "Image?", perform the procedure written there, it will help you to put appropriate tag on the image page. You are always welcome for any question, i will try my best to solve it. Thanks-- Shyam (T/C) 20:50, 2 March 2006 (UTC)
Hi, first of all really sorry to misguide yesterday, actually i am also new in this process. Do you know where the fault is? I think the person tagged "no source" was also new. He may have gone to untagged pages which is not updated and might have tagged all the images with no source even some of them already tagged. I am going through this process and learning many things. Thanks-- Shyam (T/C) 07:52, 3 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Your Eames philosophy picture from the library of congress...

I saw your uploaded photo, and I thought that all government agency photos were all public domain? It is listed as one of the options when you upload a file, so I have used lots of photos from government agencies (googling with the 'site:.gov' flag) in my wikipedia articles. Just a thought. Best of luck, Rhetth 01:45, 10 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Charles and Ray Eames-Silhouettes-Communications primer 256kb.mp4.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Charles and Ray Eames-Silhouettes-Communications primer 256kb.mp4.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 21:27, 13 February 2008 (UTC)
